The Uphill Post: HIP HIP HOORAY - HARRISON TURNS 2!!

Hey Everyone!
Well i haven't blogged for over a week and i thought i better!
So last week we still had Jono at home.... it was so lovely having us all at home for two whole weeks! Pitty it had to end.
We just did alot of things around home most of the week. And then come Friday it was Harrison's 2nd birthday so we planned a nice day.
Originally we were going to do something around Wagga and mum was coming up for the day, but we decided instead we would go for a little trip down towards mum's and Albury and have some yummy lunch and take Harrison to a play centre or playground.
So in the morning Harrison woke to find his presents in the lounge room with lots of balloons..... he was very excited! Once we were ready we left and headed towards Albury... which we had not been since mid may.
We stopped at Mum's first where Harrison got a "Digger" off nanny and poppy! It is very cool!
Unfortunately my bleeding had increased and we decided it was best to get it checked. So instead of going straight to lunch we went to the hospital to get checked- however the wait was so long, that i did not want to ruin Harrison's birthday so i decided i would wait till we came back to wagga.
So after a couple of hours we made it to the new park in Wodonga - its fantastic! Thanks Aunty Mel for telling me about it!
Harrison had so much fun and we even had a little cake for him...mind you he still hates the candles! We stopped in to see Lee and feed Aimee on the way home.
So our day ended up very unorganised and all over the place ... but the little man had a good day so that is the main thing.
Aimee is doing very well. The last two nights she has pretty much slept through!!!! But i am not getting my hopes up just yet.
She fed at 7pm both nights and the first night she woke at 4:45am and this morning at 5:30am! WHAT AN EFFORT! GO AIMEE!!!
Harrison is still coping very well with having a little sister... he loves her so much and loves to talk to her and occasionally says "hands out" and sits down wanting a hold.
Aimee is growing so fast already and it is hard to believe she will be 3 weeks old at the end of the week.
Jono is back at work now.... and thankfully i am coping really well so far. I have the little ones sleeping at the same time around lunch so i get a little time to myself then. Should probably use it to rest but instead i try to do as much as possible! haha
This weekend we have the long awaited "HOOT PARTY" !! How exciting!
Still cant believe he is 2 already! Will post about it next week.
Sorry its short ... but i have to go do all the things a Mummy of 2 does!
